We need a crossing on Tunnel Road!

Lib Dem campaigner Neelima Chorla is calling for a crossing on Tunnel Road to ensure pedestrian and motorists’ safety.

Many residents returned the Lib Dems survey asking for action on the dangerous road in the middle of Edge Hill. Unfortunately, the Labour Council has failed to act, and the road remains dangerous.

One local resident said ‘I remember when we had Lib Dem Councillors in Edge Hill who used to get things done for us.
Since having a Labour Councillor, I find that we get little or no action on issues affecting us.’

Neelima Chorla is asking residents to sign her asking the Council's Highways department to install a crossing.

Neelima said: ‘We need a Council that is proactive and not just reactive. It should not take an injury or even death for the Council to act. Please join me in asking the Council to act now on a crossing in our area.’
