Richard at Cressington Station

Bring back Cressington Station's full service!

Residents are fed up with the completely unreliable service at Cressington Station!

It's not good enough!

For months, Cressington Station has been saddled with a reduced timetable because the new 8-car trains are "too long" for the platform!

Then they completely closed the station for two Saturdays in December, with no consultation!

Richard is campaigning for an end to Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram's part-time service at Cressington Station and a return to a full service, even during major city events.

The Metro Mayor has promised that Cressington Station will have step-free access by 2030 - Richard doesn't think that's good enough and is fighting for a fair deal for local residents.

Bring back Cressington Station's full service!

I, the undersigned, call on the Metro Mayor and Merseyrail to reinstate a full service at Cressington Station, even during major events and to make the station step-free as soon as possible.
