Councillor Richard Clein is asking for residents support in the long-running battle to get a pedestrian crossing at the junction of Brodie and Booker Avenue.

As a former Governor of Booker Avenue Infants School from 2012 to 2016, Richard has campaigned for action since before he became Grassendale and Cressington’s councillor. Local people have raised repeated concerns about safety, particularly for children travelling to school.

Richard said: “For too long the safety of local residents has been put at risk. Please join me in demanding action.”
