Postal vote

What will you be doing on the 6th May next year?

Not sure? We're all getting used to this 'new normal' and with ever changing rules about almost everything it's even more difficult to plan ahead.

Next May Liverpool will see it’s biggest ever round of local elections. You will get a vote for your local councillor, a Police & Crime Commissioner, a Metro Mayor and the City Mayor! So expect long queues at the polling station... Especially if social distancing is still necessary.

There is an easy alternative. Postal votes are safe, convenient and secure your vote.

It’s simple. Just download the form here, fill it in carefully in black ink, and send it back in an envelope to: Electoral Services, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH (you will need a stamp).

Alternatively, you can scan the completed form (or take a clear, good quality photo from directly above the form) and email it to [email protected]

Haven't got a printer? Don't worry, email [email protected] with your name, address and the number of forms you need, and they will post the form out to you. Or you can call them on 0151 233 3028.

This simple step will mean that whatever is happening next May you’ll be able to have your say in the elections. Remember elections in Liverpool are a fight between the Liberal Democrats and Mayor Joe Anderson’s Labour. Your vote really will make a difference in May.
