Council Tax bills will soar if Labour wins the council elections on 1st May.

Local Labour bosses have attacked the current Lib Dem council for keeping council tax bills DOWN.

If Labour had their way, the average council tax bill would be £144 higher hitting Liverpool residents hard.

With the election just weeks away, Labour’s council tax plans are proving unpopular in streets across the city.

Liverpool pensioner Pat
Bloomer said, “I am appalled at the idea of having to pay an extra £144 in council tax each year. Things are tight enough as it is.”“People around here haven’t forgotten how we used to pay the highest council tax bills in Britain when Labour ran the city.”

“Now it seems that Labour bosses want to go back to their bad old ways.”

More and more people are saying that they don’t want to go back to the bad old days under Labour.

The Lib Dems have delivered record investment into the city meaning more jobs, new facilities and a huge repair programme for council housing.

A Labour council would put all this at risk. When Labour ran our city, local people had to pay the HIGHEST council tax bills in Britain.

Since the Lib Dems took control, council tax bills have been kept down and services improved.
